“The Break Up”- 3.75 It advertises this as comical. It seemed just enough humor to allow me to continue through some difficult realistic break-down interactions. I liked it, it gave me urge to self-appraise. A couple with a romantic and loving beginning, moved on to a place where there is worn down sensitivity. They know the areas of worst aggravation toward each other and until the critical level, they have stopped listening with sensitivity. They get along and get together when it is convenient. Yes, selfish blundering best describes the male, but if you watch also consider the female's plots of manipulation. It is a relationship requiring a new inspiriting and a renewed commitment to attend to the other. Not a comedy; no resolutions, but worth the time if you wonder “how did we get to this point?” or have a certainty that it is all “their” fault”.
