I read the entirety of The Next Person you Meet in Heaven in one evening. It wasn’t too easy. It was just so good. The Five People You Meet in Heaven is one of my favourite books of all time, so of course I picked this one up right away. The themes may seem a bit daunting, but it is anything but dark. It is a beautiful story of intertwining lives and unseen consequences. This sequel is a little more obvious in its choices of the people met in heaven, and is clearly meant to tug on the heartstrings. My advice? Just let it. Let it pull you in. Let it make you cry. Then recover, and let the whole process start all over again. Normally I don’t go for obvious books. But this one is obvious in a beautiful way. @freckleface675 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
