I really loved this exploration of the ancient Egyptian world. Most of the details of the characters' lives have to be made up because there is so much we don't know about them. I loved how Moran brought the ancient Pharoah Ankenaten and Queen Nefertiti to life. The characters were fascinating. The story is told from the point-of-view of Mutnodjmet, Nefertiti's sister, and her opinions of the court of vipers she and her sister have landed in when Nefertiti is chosen to be one of the wives of Prince Ankenaten, heir to the throne of Egypt. It's a fast-based, fun read.
