He's beautiful, she's beautiful and the author is careful to point this out over and over and over again to the point of nausea. If there was a drinking game where you'd take a sip whenever looks were expounded upon, you'd be drunk before the end of chapter 2. Beyond that, there is very little, if any, character development from the first book. The main characters are still out there doing their beautiful best, and the 'ghost' element is intriguing as is the identity of the killer (though the language skills of one of the agents at a crucial moment is extremely convenient and unlikely), but the relationship of Charlie and Micheal hasn't changed since the first book and appears firmly embedded in the physical as they keep sniping at each other whilst gifting each other with lustful gazes. They are given the appearance of caring about each other but I can't see why beyond the physical attraction. The hunt for the killer is interesting, and I do quite enjoy the supernatural element, so, not a bad sequel if you can look beyond the Halequin-esque elements, and if that sort of thing floats your boat, then you'll likely really enjoy this book :)
