When the secret organization headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads the agents to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents' strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.

I still enjoy the first Kingsman more, but two was more (but not much more) entertaining than I thought it would be.

Not good. Very disjointed plot. Misused of big stars.

I was torn with this film, as I had hoped it would be up to the quality of the first one, Kingsmen: The Secret Service (2014), however found it to have gone too far with it's fantasy, and lost some of it's credibility for me.
However, many times when I had almost given up of it being as good as the first one, the story line would change and make me change my mind again. Ultimately, Julianne Moore "madd genius," did not work for me, nor did some of the other incredible, but just as unbelievable parts of the film.
I still liked this film and think it is as well done as any other good action movie, but just not as good as the previous one. Fine performances by Taron Egerton (Eggsy), Colin Firth (Harry), Hanna Alstrom (Princess Tilde), Channing Tatum (Tequila), Pedro Pascal (Whisky), Mark Strong (Merlin) and the underplayed Halle Berry (Ginger). Julianne Moore (Poppy) is a good actress, but just thought that they way this role was played, did not suit this film, nor the Elton John appearance.
The 10 minute extra on the DVD, was interesting to see how the 2 week long shooting of the black taxi scene was done.

First movie okay, this absouletely stupid, junior high humor.A bunch of drunk, stoned junior high boys could have written it and probably did.Extreme waste of acting talent especially Jeff Bridges.Elton John just looked like a total idiot, maybe he wants to be a cross dancer.Do not recommend no stars.

I was assured this one was "Much better than the first," so I gave it a try. It is still seems to be written for 14-year-old virgin boys who smoke a lot of dope. Another example of the old Hollywood standby rule "if you cant write dialogue, write cuss words, and if your plot is thin just throw in bathroom humor or butts and boobs." HUGE waste of talent. (If you are planning to watch this just for Idris Ilba, don't bother. Bit part.)

The first one was great and this one good. Sir Elton John was different from his normal presentation, worth seeing if nothing else than seeing it for that.

Nearly the entire movie script is posted in IMDb but none really good, like this one:

[Eggsy enters Whiskey's Ford Bronco]

Eggsy: Got the passes from my contact. You're gonna love Glastonbury.

Whiskey: Well, that's the easy part, kid. Take a look in the glove box.

[Eggsy opens the glove compartment and grabs a pill box. He opens the box and see a finger-sized condom]

Eggsy: Fucking hell, bruv. Thought everything was supposed to be bigger in America. Is this why you overcompensate with these massive cars?
