It went on and on. Was very disappointed.

As a fan of Khoury's 'Templar' books, I was looking forward to reading The Sanctuary. Unfortunately, this book did not quite live up to my expectations. It certainly was not a bad book, however, as I was expecting more historic "facts" than a thriller, the book was a slow read until the middle. From the middle of the book onwards, it was a far more interesting read. For those who have the same expectations as I did, let those go and you will enjoy this book, otherwise, it will feel like a bit of a letdown.
