Add a CommentMargaret Wise Brown originally published Nibble, Nibble in 1959 and happily these wonderful bunny poems have been republished in a beautifully illustrated edition for whole new generations of readers. The artist is none other than award-winning naturalist artist Wendell Minor whose work appears in many children's book to the delight of budding naturalists everywhere.
The poems are active and engaging and the pictures are big and inviting, all of which make this book of poems perfect for a story time, circle time or just one little hopper at a time. My personal favorite is "Song of the Bunnies" which has them zipping and zooming this way and that allowing the kids to zip and zoom right along with them.
Spring is rapidly approaching and it's time to start thinking about bunnies, flowers, meadows and sunshine. This book is a perfect place to start dreaming about spring!
