Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that can be described as meditation with movement; a conscious form of exercise. It is not just physical exercise, but a transformative and holistic health care system. Qigong helps you to cultivate chi, with slow movements, smooth breathing and visualization, in order to enhance the body's natural healing abilities.

This Qigong DVD is good for beginners and also allows room to grow into an intermediary practice.

I also enjoyed the qigong documentary that was included in this set.

I find the exercises to be just fine and do the job. However, there are a few production points that could have been done better.
1) There are NO chapters. If you're watching it at all, you have to go through the introduction and "basics" BEFORE the workout and there is no way to jump to a particular exercise either. Given that the track is 01:11:00 long, that makes for a LOT of button pushing.
2) He only does a mediocre job of explaining what the movements are when you're performing the exercise. Given that this is for beginners, I think they should have put more effort into to this part and considered either giving explanations of the jargon or avoided it altogether. They simply assume you know where your chakras and energy points are.
I have to say, however, the added information on the other track (interview) of the main disk and the documentary on the supplementary disk are very interesting and informational pieces though.
