Everyone deserves a great love story, but for seventeen year old Simon Spier, it's a little more complicated. He hasn't told his family or friends that he's gay, and he doesn't know the identity of the anonymous classmate that he's fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life changing.

This movie is really aimed at the younger generation. In my era, people came out as adults; in my children's generation, people came out in high school or earlier. Its all good.

A very sweet and funny film with a good cast and script. Would definitely watch again.

Can't believe people are still offended by homosexuality in 2018.

Enjoyable coming out/coming of age dramedy that rings true.

At the beginning I was distracted by how rich they all seemed (given a car? huge houses, giant kid's bedroom, coffee every day?), but by the end of the movie I really felt emotionally attached to the characters. It felt real: like how painful and awkward, but also beautiful, teenage romances and friendships can be.

Really GOOD movie, I think most people will like it for sure. :).

But see the Subject headers, it is about Gay Teenagers.
The story is about first love from the perspective of a gay teenager, and it's done in a fun and romantic way.

Sweet teen rom-com with a timely twist.
Terrific cast, and Nick Robinson simply shines as Simon, trying in his awkward, funny, touching way to get the whole first love and identity thing right, a journey complicated by his creepy-lovable classmate Martin (you wouldn't think that combination works, but Logan Miller pretty well nails it) who resorts to blackmail in the pursuit of his own happy ending. There are some amusing fantasy sequences that illustrate Simon's dilemmas, the funniest involving straight kids coming out to their parents--as straight.
A nice adaptation of the popular coming of age novel, "Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda," by the talented Becky Albertalli, which I also highly recommend.

"Overall, I really enjoyed Love, Simon. It is definitely a movie that people can go and see and just watch as this kid becomes confident in who he is and that those who love him, will always love him no matter what. I think the acting is really good in the movie, especially by Nick Robinson who does such a good job at just being a teenager. This movie has a great cast but Nick Robinson is the strongest aspect of the movie..."

Love, Simon is an uplifting, romantic, sweet and hilarious movie based off the popular novel Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda! I loved the cast of this movie and the storyline was transitioned wonderfully to screen. This is a touching movie with a great message and theme that also makes you laugh.

Warning parents, Homosexuality involved. Movie was very slow and without real meaning. A teacher indulges a young man's fantasies toward homosexuality. I stop watching it.
