Full of magic and mystery, this is a perfect spooky read for Halloween for your middle school aged reader.

Great writing, and an amazing sense of place. It's a twisty blend of magic, family, and history that reads quickly and packs emotional punches as well as oodles of building creepiness. I particularly loved Hoodoo's sense of humor!
