A propaganda piece by the oil and gas industry. He lulls the reader into thinking the book is an objective look by presenting the technical explanation of fracking and the way that oil and gas supplies were greatly increased in the US. He then becomes a denier of global warming since temperature has only increased .85 Celsius (1.53 Fahrenheit) in 130 years. He ignores the glacier melting in the Arctic and the increase in Ocean temperatures and how that has affected life on the planet.
He expounds that poisoned ground water, leaking oil pipelines, and other disasters are okay because they don't happen very often and only affect a very limited number of people.
He thinks that the great wealth accumulated by the few, as a result of fracking, is wonderful, ignoring the use of some of those funds to effect and promote a political agenda.
I was hoping for a fuller and unbiased explanation of the issue of fracking. I didn't get that.
