The next book in the NEW YORK TIMES bestselling Psy-Changeling series, following HEART OF OBSIDIAN. Assassin. Soldier. Arrow. That is who Vasic is, who he will always be. His soul drenched in blood, his conscience heavy with the weight of all he's done, he exists in the shadows, far from the hope his people can almost touch - if only they do not first drown in the murderous insanity of a lethal contagion. Book 13 of Psy-Changeling series, preceded by Heart of Obsidian and supposedly followed by a story of Aden. This is a sexy, heart wrenching story of Vasic, an Arrow who some think is beyond redemption and Ivy Jane, an Empath of high gradient who falls in love with him.

Book #13 in the Psy-Changeling series. I adored this book! Nalini Singh is a wonderful writer and is fully able to immerse you in her world, her characters, and their emotions.

This is the story of Arrow and assassin Vasic, and Ivy - a newly awakened empath. It's dark, emotional and wrenching, but also filled with hope. We see the continuation of the battle for the Psynet, and the struggle of trying to save the Psy from annihilation.

We get to see more of Kaleb and Sahara, and Lucas and Sascha in this book.

But, overall, this is the story of Vasic and how we comes to terms with his past, his actions, his choices, and his future. It's heartbreaking and wonderful. One of my favorite entries in this series since Kiss of Snow (book 10).

Nalini has already announced that book #14 will be about Aden.
