Having recently read Franklin's autobiography, Isaacson's more in depth look into Franklin's personal life was quite enlightening. Isaacson dived deeper Franklin's family life (or lack thereof) and the specific events that led to Franklin's involvement in the Declaration of Independence and later, the Constitution---and Franklin was VERY involved in both.
Though, certainly flawed in some ways, Franklin was a political and diplomatic superstar for his time. Today's politicians could certainly learn much from his example, in my opinion. Recommended.
