“Brisingr” by Christopher Paolini is the third book in the “Inheritance Cycle” series, continuing the story of Eragon Shadeslayer and his dragon, Saphira Bjartskular in the world of Alagaësia. King Galbatorix, the evil tyrant who runs the…

The story keeps going to an interesting direction, even though the whole book could have been way shorter, too many long and more or less useless descriptions which make it boring somerimes.

This is a sprawling epic spanning hundreds and hundreds of pages—and it’s the third book in a series of four. It follows Eragon Shadeslayer, a Dragon Rider, and Saphira Brightscales, a dragon, as they continue in their quest for knowledge…

What am I going to do with these books? I’m running out of things to say about them. In my Review of Eldest, I said that it was one of a kind because it was the rare sequel that was as good as, if not better, than the original. Well, in…

Another masterpiece by Christopher Paolini. The series is full of more adventure every book! Sadly, there is only one book in the series left.

Characters: 7/10 Plot: 7/10 Writing: 6/10 Although I like the world of the Inheritance Cycle, it's getting harder and longer to tread through. There were significant portions that I, as an author or editor, would have chosen to shorten…

This was way better than Eldest. Brisingr is by far the best book in the series. There's a lot more action, more, you know, important things. But an objection is that a lot of the book focuses more on Roran and less and less on Eragon.…

I love the Inheritance Cycle, but this is my least favourite book. The book is too long and the plot does not really develop much. All the action ends up taking place in the next one, Inheritance, so I don't see the point of this novel.…

I really loved this book, it was a great installment to the series. Very good plot and adventures, and twists and turns I never would have seen coming. Great book!

Yeah, there were quite a few parts I didn't agree with too and some ideas I didn't like, like trans-humanism and telepathic communication. He mixes fairy tale, legend, and metaphysical in these series a lot to create something similar to…

One of my favorite series/books. There are parts I don't agree with, but on the whole, a good book. :)

Paolini is able to achieve, in his books, a sense of writing a terrible fanfiction of his own stories. Following the tradition of Eldest, Brisingr is a yet more horrible entry of the laughable Inheritance Cycle. So much time is wasted…

What do you get when you combine Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and a 15-year-old's writing skills? A heap of trash called Eragon and its sequels. In this novel, the art of Bad Writing is truely mastered and brought to a new level. I…

This book was a good read. I really enjoyed finding out why it was called Brisingr. Book three seems to be about watching Eragon Shadeslayer find his own symbol of power, which makes sense for one so central to the fight against…
