Sometimes I rent online copies of books from the library and don’t finish them before they are taken back but this one I definitely finished. This is a great guide book for the spiritual truth seeker. I had to wait in a virtual line to get…

I listened to this book while on a mini vacation at the beach. I walked the beach a lot thinking and listening to nature around me. This book was a great accompaniment to my little retreat. The narrator Peter Berkrot has a very smooth…

Definite gems in this one that were slightly different from all the "letting go" type of self-help books I've read. The best part was the first chapter where it made me realize that none of the voices are me (I do sometimes pick and…

Enjoyable read, its a beautiful book that covers a complex subject but surprisingly uses simple words to explain it. There are a few caveats though. For example, this book does not explain HOW to achieve this inner peace in depth enough.…

Michael Singer's "The Untethered Soul" grabbed my attention by making me realize I wasn't alone in that I was being shaped by an inner voice that actually was driven by my mind, not me, and that I am merely an observer to these thoughts. I…

In spite of some genuinely wise and thought-provoking parts, I found the writing, particularly in the last half, to be repetitive. The last chapter on God was unnecessary and preachy. Also: -he writes from a perspective of a privileged…

A presentation of Buddhist thought without the Buddhist component except for sanskara (samsara?) and Tao. Bottom line is to allow for what IS in life without clinging. Pretty easy to understand....Be Yourself and allow others to be who…

A very enjoyable read! This is a book that I think frequent readers, enthralled by nearly any subject, would hope to come by. The irony is that among general civilization there is no apparent nor strong urgency to learn such subject…

I enjoyed the first couple of chapters, and appreciated and profited from the thoughts about centering and letting go of melodrama. After that it became increasingly repetitive and started mixing the metaphors. It went downhill from there…

This book will teach you ways to let your past go and focus more on living in the moment. I enjoyed this book but the end became very religious and related a lot to bible passages. I personally am not religious so I could not relate to the…

Interesting concepts on how to separate your constant thoughts and external events from who you really are. I felt the book was repetitive at times but worth the read if you are looking for self improvement, being happy or getting in…

Excellent book. Gives a good viewpoint on how to get out of your own way. I will be working on this method, along with other spiritual practices.

This is an excellent book that actually gave concrete strategies on how to remove myself from my thoughts and emotions. It really works too, I've been practicing for a week now and it is very freeing. I'm going to buy this one.

Contrived and full of circular reasoning well suited to rationalize selfish behaviors. A narcissist's bliss, complete with Chopra quotes.

One of those books that really can help you to live your life better forever....Loved it so much, I bought a copy for my own personal library.

My perspective on myself, my emotions, and my power to create a happy life despite outside circumstances is profoundly shifted thanks to the book. It was written, in an accessible, and conversational way, and yet it contains life changed…

I've had a particularly hard couple of years and was lucky enough to discover a great support group, therapist, and the practice of mindfulness meditation. This book wrapped all of the gems that I've learned from these various pursuits…
