The fourth Ice Age movie really begins to experience franchise fatigue. It's a new direction to be sure, and there are some exciting parts, but the movie as a whole definitely feels inferior to previous offerings.

I still love this movie. The first time I watched it was about 4 or 5 years ago, and I remember some parts in the movie I'll never forget.

The franchise is showing some age, but they do throw in some new ideas. This one is a bit darker and requires a bit more suspension of disbelief.

Not bad, not great. Good mindless entertainment for adults. My 4 year old, however, was a bit traumatized...what with the world falling apart, families breaking up, being lost at sea, attacked by pirates.....and all.
